A weeks worth of fun

This has been a busy week - so much going on along with our regular everyday stuff. Olivia has been experiencing some outbursts of will if you may. But that is much better know as TEMPER TANTRUMS!!! However we seemed to have solved some of the problem buy giving her a snack BEFORE we go to the park so that when its time to leave and come home for supper, its not so tough. Its been working so far. We aren't sure where on earth she gets this temper of hers. ha ha. I think Ian said, "if she has some of your temper and some of mine, we are ok. But if she got ALL of mine and ALL of yours we better watch out!"

All that aside our sweet little angel has been having lots of fun...

Olivia decided to help out the watering of the yard but ended up watering herself more than anything.

Another great weekend in the sun. Olivia was busy outside playing. We even had Trystan over for some fun time in the yard. I think we need to buy a little pool, although they loved the water play, I think it would have been more fun if they could have both sat in the water together. And don't think they didn't try!

We love Summer!

This weekend was beautiful here in Calgary. It was hot and we were busy.
Saturday we had a garage sale! I can't really believe it either but we did it. I have signed up to participate in the Weekend to End Breast Cancer and have to raise $2000 to walk on July 27. What better way to raise some money we thought than to have a garage sale. Great idea. We had some of our own junk and then some friends donated some of their left over junk from a garage sale they had. So we were pretty well off for things to get rid of. Ian and I were most proud of the sale of our "Ab Chair" - you know to build those ads of steel. I actually sold it for $10!!! Hope the guy has better luck than we did, although it did work great for drying clothes!
Later in the day - we only did the sale until 3:00 - Olivia was finished playing with all the stuff in the garage and ready to get to back yard to play. It was an exhausting day but for a great cause and we did manage to sell some stuff.Olivia has enjoyed smelling the flowers in the yard and finally noticed the lilacs which smell so sweet!

Today Olivia and Ian spent the day together. This morning she decided to try on her new bike helmet and pads!
Then they came to have lunch with mommy at work and see mommy busy making Eggs Benny for the breakfast rush. After work we all went over to have dinner with Andrea, Ricardo and Trystan. Olivia and Trystan played lots together, played with dogs and had dinner - they were so busy. Even the dogs were tired.
Another great summer weekend with friends and fun. Its just such a great time of year.

Weekend Fun in the Sun

The weekend was full of fun!

We spent Saturday in the yard and planting our flowers. Olivia enjoyed helping and playing in the dirt.

Sunday we went to the Lilac festival where Mommy performed with her belly dancing group and Olivia and Ian watched on. Olivia was not happy - in fact she was screaming - when mama was dancing. I am not sure if she thought I wasn't very good or she just wanted to dance too.

After the long hot day we came home and played in the sprinkler and Olivia shared a fudgecycle with daddy! It was great

Friends and Fun

This is our May long weekend here in Canada so we celebrated by having a little BBQ with some friends. It was lots of fun and the kids were busy in the yard with the Dora blow up ball thing, t-ball and lots of wagon rides, thanks to the daddies.

It was a great day, the rest of the weekend has been rainy but Olivia was busy inside. She was practicing going up and down the stairs on her own holding the railing! Amazing how fast they grow up and how "independent" she wants to be!

Four Hundred and Fifty!!!

We just got home from a great, wonderful, fantastic holiday in San Diego! We took something like 450 pictures! Don't worry, we only put a few on here to share with everyone.

Olivia was a great little traveler. She didn't sleep a wink on the airplane down - it was way too exciting. She didn't scream either, so that was good.

We saw so much and did so many things. Olivia is just a great little trooper, enjoying it all and not even napping until we got in the car on most days!

She got to swim everyday and LOVED it. We went shopping, we did the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, spent the day on Coronado at the beach, and were even there for the big Old town San Diego Cinco de Mayo Festival. It was awesome. We had so much fun.

So as promised just a few pictures here and there of out trip. Maybe we will add some more later.
