Getting ready for Halloween...

Family Weekend

Well, we spent the weekend celebrating Papa's 80th Birthday! How much fun, EVERYONE was there and Olivia was a great little party goer.

The cake was a masterpiece by yours truly and Pat and we both agree it was our best one yet.
The stars danced but none of us won. And Olivia was a little star all on her own. She was busy at the party dancing and crawling under the tables; eating cheese and cherry tarts; and singing her own version of "Happy Birthday".
This is Olivia after all the dancing and party-ing. We got in the car turned on the heat and a little ABBA and she was out!!!

We had a great Hart Family picture on Sunday and even included the dogs - except for Bailey who was retreating at a resort outside of Calgary! (hee hee).Olivia enjoyed a little time with each of her cousins and some piano playing with Auntie Brenda and Gamma. And a little computer time with Jaime.

Runway Ready

At first she didn't want to even put this little coat on, which by the way, is vintage, from the 1970's!! Yes, "mommy wore this coat when she was a little girl." That didn't entice her to try it on either. Only AFTER I decided to just put the coat away was she more than willing to try it out, hat and all. And the pose was just an added bonus. A modeling career in the future?? Haa haa.

Party Fun

Olivia went to a birthday party for her friend Marissa this weekend who turned 2!! It was lots of fun. Olivia and Marissa have been friends for over a year now and Olivia loves Marissa. She says "Maissa" - and even went over to give Marissa a hug and kiss as we left the party. They are so cute.

Finally some new pictures...

We have just been so busy lately, I don't know where the time has gone. Olivia has so much to say now its amazing. She still insists on watching the Jungle Book or ABBA daily, and knows that the tiger is Sherkan and that the snake is Kaa. And when I ask her if she is a man-cub, her response is "yep". Her favorite ABBA song is definitly "Gimmee, Gimmee, Gimmee".

Rassi (aka Lil' Rascal) and Olivia are getting along just fine, she gets him carrots, tells him to "seet daon" and likes to say "Rassi come!" He hasn't realized that he is Rassi or well, just has learned to ignore her like he does Ian and me!

And, Olivia's new favorite friend, Auntie Ewelina came over for Pizza - Olivia ate all of Ewelina's black olives off her pizza!!
