I love Ice Cream, Mommy!

So, Olivia helped make strawberry ice cream today with mommy.

Birthday Fun

Olivia went to her friends birthday party this weekend and had a great time. They ate popcorn, cake, cookies and all kinds of yummy kid stuff. I did manage to get her to eat 2 pieces of cheese. Anyway, it was fun and here are some pictures of all of us on the party day, at the party and whatever...

Olivia's busy week

This week Olivia went on an over night trip with Daddy to see Grandma and Papa. One the way there, they stopped off at Uncle Gordon's.

Gordon had quite a time keeping up with Olivia, as soon as he would get to where she was going, she would head off in the other direction again! But I know he had a great time with his little visitor. Olivia found lots to do...

She ran up and down the path out in the back yard...

She sat in the BIG M chair...

she played shuffle board...

she ate oreo cookies...

and one of the biggest delights was the Grandfather clock that chimmed every 15 minutes. Who knew Uncle Gordon's house was so cool!:)

For some reason there are no pictures from Grandma and Papa's house. I think they were having too much fun. Grandma and Olivia played the piano and Olivia explored in the motor home. She was really tired when she and Daddy got home, but she had LOTS to tell!

As I wrote a few weeks ago, we were working on building a play house for Olivia. The work has taken awhile, Ian has been really busy with it: planning, measuring, and getting it all just right.

Here are some pictures of the work in progress, and Olivia enjoying it while it was going up...

And...the final product, complete with basketball hoop, slide, chalkboard, and picnic bench/table, pirate's wheel and flower box. So fun to make this, I think all we are missing is the roof.

And, by the way, Olivia picked the colors!! I LOVE IT!!!

Rain, rain go away...

Its still raining. Luckily, Olivia is happy to wear all the proper gear that goes along with it.

If it would ever stop raining...

Ian could finish his project of building Olivia a little "fort" or "house" as she is calling it.

This is what we did the one nice weekend we have had. Otherwise we have been inside making the best out of rainy days...

Olivia put her babies and Lucybear in the "car" and went for a drive, then she decided they were bad and needed to sit in the timeout chair while she rested.

Rascal pulled the life out of a blue Carebear that Olivia found for him at the neighbor's garage sale...

And, Olivia entertained us all by walking around with a bag on her head.
